Foldscope reaches Botany lab at NMKRV College..

Petal cells of Red turk’s cap

Malvaviscus penduliflorus commonly known as Red turk’s cap belongs to the family Malvaceae.The petals are red in colour due to the presence of the pigment anthocyanin.
