Studying micro-organisms of Deepor Beel, Assam

Deepor Beel is a wetland of international importance, the only Ramsar site in Assam. It is rich in biodiversity.

CEE North East team studied some water samples using foldsope. The following videos and photos are some examples of micro organisms seen under foldscope.

Another photo shows an unidentified colony like structure which may be sponge or moss. Would appreciate if some one can help identify.

    The water of Dipor Beel is just great. Looks like an algal mass.
