Dryer lint: Bio60_2019

I got a small piece of some old dryer lint from the dryer downstairs and put it on the slide with a drop of water. There are clear blue and red fibers, which are presumably fibers that fell off from clothes as a result of the friction in the dryer. There is also a thicker, brown object in the middle. It seems to me that this could be a small piece of wood, like a splinter, that made its way into the lint. I thought the small round dots were particularly interesting. They don’t look like living organisms or bacteria, but I’m not sure what they are. Perhaps they are small particles that have attached to the clothes.
