Leaf of a plant I found when walking around Wilbur dining around 9 pm on February 11th , 2019. I put the plant under the fold-scope immediately after picking it. When preparing the slide, I carefully cut a piece of the leaf. It had white sticky fibers when I pulled it apart. I wanted to view these fibers and the leaf. The first image above is of those sticky fibers. I used a bead of water to help the plant leaf adhere to the slide. The water I used to stick the plant leaf to my slide seemed to have made a small barrier around the leaf. Perhaps this is because the leaf is hydrophilic and therefor attracted to the polar water. For the small sticky fiber, I see to be able to see individual sections and beads, perhaps they are cells.
