Question about High Magnification Lens

I have troubles getting centered image when using the High Magnification Lens.
The image is always side-shifted and I don’t know if the problem comes from the lens assembling.

On the other hand, with the LML the pictures are centered:

All pictures are a fly wing.

Great job getting an in-focus image with the high-mag lens! It’s not the easiest part to work with, and you are already getting pretty far 🙂

As for your question, it looks like your alignment is slightly off. Try adjusting the magnetic coupler on your phone to be more centered around your camera. This is harder to do with the high mag lens than with the low mag lens, so the same placement might not work for both set-ups. You could also look at the relative alignment between the empty aperture pocket and the high mag lens part. The holes along the upper edge should line up with each other, but trying other positions might also be helpful. Mostly, it takes a lot of guess and check to get good images, but you really are very far already!
Good luck! Post any other questions you have, especially if any part of this attempted explanation wasn’t clear 🙂

Thanks @Marie. I think this is an issue with the relative alignment between the “empty” aperture and high mag lens.

Please remove the high mag lens part from the empty aperture and put it back again – as @Marie described.

Beautiful images – you are getting things nicely in focus 🙂
