Tulips under the foldscope

We got some tulips a couple of weeks ago.

Here is a timelapse of them blooming

We took some images of the pollens and petals after they finished blooming. A couple of images of their pollens under the foldscope:

Some images of their petals. Aren’t these the prettiest color palletes and the artwork of one of the best artists ever?

Happy belated valentine’s! (Never knew tulips literally meant deep and perfect love!)

Stunning images. Just wow! Would be wonderful to add this to “pollen roster project” by Laks!

Thanks! How can I add it? Is there something online where I can input them or email him directly?

Hi Kanika: Hope all well. This is Laks here. I could add your observations to this Pollen Roster https://microcosmos.foldscope.com/?p=4186 . Let me know.

I have been long thinking about updating this but haven’t looked around to see if there is a better format. Perhaps some tree-like format supported by html.

Thank you so much! That sounds great.

Yes, I would like to see as well if I can organize that database in my free time. Will email you and see if we can work something out together. This is a great resource !!! and a must for budding scientists and folks. Thanks for creating it.
