It’s amazing how a single bristle can seem so long yet wide under the microscope, and unevenly tapered. The bubbles and loops are also fascinating. This image makes the different colors of threads clearly visible, as well as how they are partially translucent. The way chalk dust appears is so different when it’s so dispersed. I think it’s impressive how the bristles of an eraser can seem so orderly, yet can have so many threads falling off and twisting around each other.
