Tussock Moth #Bio60

on

These are images from different parts of a Tussock Moth. These moths are seen all around Stanford’s campus during the spring months. It took me around forty minutes to actually catch one of them, and I probably looked ridiculous in my attempts. It was certainly worth it however, as under the Foldscope the wing and the antenna have mazing microscopic detail!IMG_4487
