#BIO60 Sample of Mud from the Baylands Nature Preserve

This is a video I took while examining a sample of mud from the Baylands Nature Preserve. What was most remarkable to me about viewing this sample up close was the color: the mud has a black, tar-like appearance from a distance but, under the Foldscope, it turned out to be various shades of green.

    Dear @alex,
The colors you see is artifacts of your illumination; and not much to do with the sample. First use a simple dry sample and get a crystal clear image – to ensure you have folded and are using the foldscope correctly.

Keep exploring – I can’t wait to see what’s in your water sample.
