Poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima)

A Poinsettia leave that has fallen. The specimen slide A Full Thickness High Mag Scope of Poinsettia A Half Thickness High Mag Scope of Poinsettia A Half Thickness High Mag Scope of Poinsettia with Vein

This is my fifth Specimen, but I chose to upload this first.

(If I can get some feedback on what I should do differently or what is good about this posting, I would be appreciated as I’m still new at this)

This Poinsettia leaf fell today. I cut out a small edge section that includes more veins.

When I place the section on the tape, a small part came off with my hand. I figure I can  maybe rub some more off so I can have a single layer of cells to look at.

The third picture is from the thick (multilayer) section of the specimen.

The last two are from the thin section, the single cell layer proves to be better at viewing. You can also see the vein from the fifth picture.
