Observing Yogurt Bacteria under foldscope

Made an attempt to observe yogurt bacteria under foldscope, diluted the yogurt, filtered under observed under foldscope without any stain. These are the images , i assume these as lactobacillus, is it ? or give your suggestion

    That’s a wonderful experiment. I assume you did this with yoghurt that was made at home or traditional medthods – unlike processed yoghurt we buy in pre-packages.

    Round globules could also be fat droplets in milk. I would suggest to repeat the experiment a couple of times; at different stages of yoghurt settling – with alsonplaying close attention to rod like shapes.

    The motility of these bacteria is a give away for identifying the same.

      Yes, this is a home made yogurt. I will repeat the experiment as suggested by you and i am sure i can post a beautiful video on this
