Objective of the Workshop
The Foldscope is a real Microscope with Magnification and Resolution sufficient for Imaging, Live Individual Cells, Cellular Organelles, Embryos, Swimming Bacteria and Much More. Since, the Foldscope is affordable it can be used anywhere. This Workshop helps the students to learn about the Assembly and usage of Foldscope. Our Goal is to encourage and enable the curious explorer in each of us and make science happen anywhere
We have conducted “One day Workshop on Assembly and Usage of Foldscope” on 28.09.2018 at K.S.R. College of Engineering, Tiruchengode, Tamilnadu, India. The workshop was conducted for engineering students. Around 50 students were participated in the workshop and the students were trained with the assembly and usage of Foldscope. The students were excited and were enthusiastic about the Foldscope and their usage during the training session. Each student was trained practically using the Foldscope and structure of the Fern Rhizome was viewed during the training.
