Microscopy of the leaves of Eryngium foetidum by B.Pharm students of RIPANS, Aizawl, Mizoram.

The plant Eryngium foetidum belonging to family Apiaceae is traditionally used for burns, earache, fevers, hypertension, constipation, asthma, diarrhoea etc. Major active constituents present are anethole, farnesene, pinene and carotol.
