Stamens of a yellow flower growing wild in India near the Aravelli Hills in Rajasthan.
Here’s a picture of the flower on the slide – unfortunately it has disintegrated quite a bit over time. It is a small yellow flower that grows on trees in the area
Below are two pictures of the area taken from a moving vehicle. In the first, I think you can see one of the trees with the flowers. The second has a bush with yellow flowers but that is not the same – we were told that the bush was invasive and the place we were staying had gone to a lot of trouble to eradicate it from their grounds because it was stifling native plants. In contrast the yellow flowering tree is native and useful.

Nice. Could you post a picture of the flower too?
Also; while at it – we would love to see the picture of Aravili hills as well. For some us stuck on the opposite side of the world; the context means a lot. It would be incredible to see the surrounding this flower calls home 🙂
Welcome to the foldscope community..
