DBT scheme –“Foldscope for dignosis of rumen acidosis and parasitic infection in cattle”. Protozoa under the genus Ostracodinium Ostracodinium nucleolobum was identified using foldscope. Morphology of Ostracodinium nucleolobum is roughly triangular to flattened ellipsoidal and left side is slightly convex, while right side is nearly flat.

Hyalomma Tick viewed under foldscope
Ticks were collected from cattle and stored in 10% Formalin. Based on the morphology, the tick was identified as Hyalomma under foldscope. These tick are longirostrate ( long mouth parts) (figure1). It was observed that the 1st Coxa is deeply bifid ( figure 2).
