Hello everyone! My name is Shubhra, I am in 9th grade and I study in Sparkling Mindz Global School . I am a part of the Lodha Genius Programme , where I can explore subjects that I enjoy through courses I am in a course called Exploring The Microcosm , in which I am learning to use a foldscope. Today I used the fold scope to help me see a Fern Rhizome. I saw the sampe in 50x, 140x, and 340x. My sample was way smaller than the other around, so even if 50x, I wasn't able to get a good close up. I was a bit disappointed. There was also something new I discovered about my sample, my fren rhizome didn't have the centre part! When I switched into a 140x I was able to see the colours and the shapes much more better. The colours were absolutely amazing and the shape was so much more visible! I really enjoyed seeing the smaples and so I tried drawing them to the best of my abilities and I am quite happy with the way it looks. I loved the 140x zoom. But then I needed to go to the 340x zoom. At the start, no matter how much I refined the picture and enhanced the clarity, it was still very blurry. After I gave ma'am my foldscope, and I made the most unpresidented mistake ever. I didn't put the lens properly! After I adjusted the lens, I was able to see the cells even more clearly! They were so beautiful and amazing, it really urged me to see the cells under the microscope. I wanted to see what really see how the cell looked like in close up.

I am super excited to see what will happen next and what I new things I will be able to discover!
