Brachionus calyciflorus

it is a rotifera, it will show their body structure as a crown, chlorella pyrenoidosa and bacteria are important food items. it has captured under the foldscope by Msc student as a part of his project work

Rotifera

rotifera, generally it is appeared in fresh water body in their structure it is showing like Eiffel tower , what do you say toes, it is use full to adhesive by secreting glue like material flinching movement of rotifera rotifera cilia movements

Nematode

Actually we are maintaining paramecium culturing, but in that culture i found nematode then i observed nematode under the foldscope. it is showing speed movements

Euplotes

Euplotes, it is a ciliated protozoan, it has captured by Msc student under the foldscope as part of his project work, he has seen in the fresh water sample, they are the common in the fresh water body

daphnia

daphnia, it is a larvae of crustaceans, they have one compound eye in the middle place.they survive in the aquatic place.

pondorina

pondorina, it is a green algae they composed with 6,8 cells, cells hold together to form a sack globular colony surrounded by mucilage Each cell has two flagella with two contractile vacuoles at their base, flagella use for locomotion. it has captured by one of the student as a his project work .

spirulina

Spirulina is a biomass of blue-green algae, Spirulina has amazing properties and in many ways can be considered a Super Food. It contains the most remarkable
concentration of nutrients known in any food, plant, grain, or herb. as well as the ability to help regulate the immune system.it is captured by Msc student through the foldscope as a his project work

VOLVOX

Spherical colonies of bright green Volvox cells rotate in unison

ACTINASTRUM

Actinastrum, it is a fresh water single cell algae, we can identify easily because it has star shaped and it has been suggested as an indicator for industrial pollution of aquatic ecosystem and frequently appears in phytoplankton of lakes and rivers. these actinastrum was observed by MSC zoology student Mr srikanth as part of his project work
