Sarah Swanson

Sarah Swanson, is Director of the Newcomb Imaging Center (NIC) at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Previously she sreceived her PhD at the University of California, Berkeley. Sarah studied Botany and Music at UW-Madison as and undergraduate and worked as a postdoc in the Biology Department at PennState University. Currently she splits her time between assisting other researchers in the NIC and working in the Gilroy Lab studying plant cell signal transduction following hormonal or mechanical stimuli.
