 We have conducted the extension  activity in reference to
 <strong>
  FOLDSCOPE
 </strong>
 at Panchayat Union Middle School, Kinathukkadavu, Coimbatore, on 29th  October 2018, where we  taught the students about the introduction to  foldscope , how to assemble the foldscope and  to view the slides using the foldscope. Hands on training were given to them regarding  the  usage of  foldscope in the field.

One day training programme on Foldscope and its Application

<p>
 The root samples collected from different varieties of
 <em>
  Cocos nucifera
 </em>
 L., were cleared and stained in tryphan blue  and the arbuscular mycorrhizal infection in the roots were assessed.
