Passiflora commonly known as passion flower was collected by the students at lalbagh botanical gardens when they visited few days back. They observed the petal cells through the foldscope.

Class – 8


 The students of class 8th observed a permanent slide of Spirogyra through the foldscope during their practical class. Spirogyra is a filamentous algae having cylindrical cells connected end to end. The chloroplast is ribbon shaped.

Visit to rural govt. high school

Wool is a natural animal fibre obtained from sheep.It looks like scaly corkscrews under the foldscope.The wool fibres are stretchable, long lasting ,doesn’t wrinkle  and springs back into shape.
