 After a workout involving ropes, my hands were blistered. After a few days, the blisters stopped hurting, and the dead skin started to come off; there was skin already forming underneath it. I decided to look at the clear tissue under the foldscope. In one of the photos, remarkably, there are distinguishable “dots” composing the skin, which are likely skin cells.  In another photo, I was able to see the striations, the grooves, of my skin.

 This is a photo of a flower petal. Grooves or canals are visible in the picture, but I’m not sure what they are for. I can also see small circular shapes, which I am inclined to identify as individual plant cells.
