Eyeshadow glitters are made of hexagonal shape. I was reading that its shape should avoid damage in case the shine of the brown falls inside the eye as opposed to being quadrangular or circular, because this could cause cuts in the outer layers of the eye. I was able to verify that the eyeshadows I use do follow these precautions using the Foldscope!
