FLY #1

FLY #2

In my recent exploration of the microcosmos within my own home, I encountered a fascinating specimen in my bathroom — a fly with unexpectedly furry wings. This discovery immediately set it apart from the common fruit fly, adding an intriguing element to the insect's identity. The intricacies of its fuzzy wings became a focal point of my microscopic investigation, leading me to question the unique features that distinguish one type of fly from another. My second time attempting to capture a bathroom pest on another day, I coincidentally captured another fly with furry wings, I am assuming it is the same species as fly #1 but I did not expect to capture the same type of fly again. As I delved deeper into the world of entomology within the confines of my bathroom, the unexpected presence of such distinctive wing characteristics sparked a curiosity that extended beyond mere pest control, transforming a mundane moment into an enthralling scientific inquiry. This encounter serves as a reminder that even within the confines of our daily spaces, there exists a hidden world waiting to be unveiled through the lens of curiosity and exploration.
