Foldscope A tool to teach Antimicrobial Resistance, a woman in STEM who travels pan India to the remotest corners of the country to help students the torch bearers of tomorrow to know more about AMR.

HVT Education support program in collaboration with Save Himalayas - Himalay Unnati Mission - HUM hosted the 3rd Foldscope workshop in Leh.
Surrounded by a rough and tough terrain, illuminated by sunlight we engaged with 50 kids to explore the microscopic world. Co-founder HVT Mahima Mehra was a part of the fun filled enagagement interacting taking questions on STEM and helping the kids mount and focus using the Foldscope.
We introduced them to WASH, AMR, good and bad bacteria all through a fun learn session.
I was accompanied by 2talented volunteers Aarth Singhal and Angad Ahuja.
HVT foundation has sponsored a computer training centre in the school and volunteers can support this digital literacy mission by volunteering to teach computers.
HUM foundation has been doing path breaking work in the border areas and digital literacy and HVT has conducted through volunteer trainers Teachers training with Saravjeet Kirad , Story telling with Ankit Dwivedi , Career guidance with Vrajesh Parikh , Counselling with Navya Prasana , Anjuu Bahrii
