Students used Foldscope images to create landscape paintings in 7th grade art class. My intern and I took students outside to explore after we discussed what they should be looking for and how to use the foldscopes. The landscape paintings were to include 3 mircroscopic images that would make sense for their landscape. For example, if their foldscope included flowers, they might have a foldscope image of part of the flower.
