I explored the question of what a drop of lake water from lake lag looks like. I went to lake lag to prepare a microscope slide and began my observations. When I looked through the foldoscope, I believe I saw some sort of microorganism. I am not exactly sure what it was, but it could have been algae or a protozoa. I found it really cool that such a simple device was able to show something like this. The foldoscope allowed me to see some of the biodiversity that is present in just a simple drop of fountain water.
