Hi! My name is Jaivats Agarwal, and I'm curious to learn. To deep dive into what is all around, yet untangible and invisible.

Today was my second day at The Lodha Genius Programme, session Exploring the Microcosm. Similar to the onion skin, today we analysed a potato peel. The potato mesmerised me, I noticed tiny bubble like structures which were scattered unevenly. Later I discovered these transparent bubbles are starch granules. I had never seen anything like it, and this fascinated me to research.
Starch granules are the major source of food for potato's hence I could see them so abundantly. In the process of magnification, one important takeway for me is to squash opaque objects on the slide for a clear vision, so that light can pass through the specimen.
