My niece and I were taking a walk along a stream in our neighborhood and we noticed a lot of larvae in the stream. We decided to capture a single specimen and it was highly intriguing to find the tiny hair-like structures at the head and tail of the budding fly! Thank you to the Department of Medical Cell Biology for providing us with these wonderful instruments.
