This week I looked at some plant samples from plants around my college campus.
Using Google lens I was able to take a picture of the plants to determine what species I was looking at. Turns out I was looking at a Coleus plant. At first I thought that the plant would be much more interesting since this specific one had multiple different colors but in reality it was just green. (Figure 1 & 2)
As seen in Figure 2 the microscope was a bit blurry but I was able to see some stomata and plant cell structures.
In figures 4 & 5 my professor gave us some plant samples which looked quite interesting under the microscope. At this point I was much more used to the microscope and I was able to get it to focus!
