From a drop of pond water near campus, we are introduced to a community of Euglenas.

Ignore the image quality, but these protists were definitely interesting to visualize! And it was even more interesting to see different sizes and shapes of them! I think we can safely say that Euglena is questionably one of the most versatile microorganisms in the world.
I additionally feel very fondly about this post because @Jeremiah_Yeboah, who is also one of Foldscope Ghana's facilitators, is lightheartedly being called "Mr. Euglena" by the group, partly because he has always wanted to see some Euglenas with his Foldscope.

And so this is somewhat of a highlight for our team; we finally found some Euglenas for Mr. Euglena, and a lot of them for that matter!
