I was walking around the roof of my dorm room and saw a flower growing off of some vines. I was instantly intrigued and started asking myself questions. Why did these vines need to produce this beautiful flower in order to sustain themselves? How did the flower contribute to the vitality of the vines? I took a small sample of one of the flowers, simply clipping off the edge.
