With a foldscope in our hands, we can explore microscopic natural world anywhere at anytime. It is one of the exciting instrument one could ever wish to have, taking into consideration the high cost of conventional microscope with a better magnification. In addition to that, the foldscope pack comes with a manual to help you assemble together all components of the foldscope. Once your foldscope is set, you can view any specimen and it allows you to adjust the magnification to get clear images. You can also take images using your smartphone and share with friends.

One of the experiment I thought about was way back in high school, the very first time when our teacher introduced us to the natural sciences discipline, the experiment that we did was based on studying cells, in comparison the plant and animal cells using a microscope. I’ve used the foldscope to view different kinds of specimen, below are the images of a plant cell, taken from an onion, as well as the animal cell from the thick skin around the nails.
