I wanted the students to go around the classroom and find something they would like to look closer at. I gave them very little prompts of what it could be. The only thing I told them is to make sure it was thin enough light could pass through. We then used this to discuss " thing. I have never seen students so excited to look at spit. It just showed me students are curious, and want ways to explore our world. It made them continue to ask about using the foldscopes day in and day out. I cannot wait to use them next year!
