Sourdough culture 24hr post feeding (560x)

This is my 14 year-old sourdough starter (she's called Polly!). I feed her every 24 hours with whole wheat flour and tepid water when I need an active starter, or once a week when she's resting -- in the fridge. I believe the large circles are starch granules, the small circles are yeast cells and the translucent rods are bacteria.
