On a California coast line today - I found an octopus « arm” mangled in a pier detached from the rest of the body. I am not sure what happened to the octopus (did it get stuck in a pump or a pier) or an animal attached and ate the rest of the octopus! I was intrigued the moment I saw it - and so I decided to foldscope the same. What a pleasant surprise.
