They used the Foldscope to seek the microbial world around them beginning with the onion peel, potato pulp and more. The ease of use enabled non science professionals to answer questions about cells, make paper slides, mount the slides, learn sampling and more. They were comfortable to focus the microscope in the light available in the office space and were super excited when they saw the cells. The handling of the Foldscope and taking pictures using their mobile phone, got all of them to take part in this activity, trully making it a fistfull of fun.
