Our last unit of the year is Ecology, in which we study biomes and ecosystems. We previously learned about the role microorganisms play in aquatic food webs, so we collected samples to observe these microorganisms. Show above is a photo from a water sample collected. My students loved this hands-on activity and getting to use Foldscopes!
