Today my 7th graders and I collected various wet and dry samples from outside. They got to see the difference between puddle water and water from a water fountain. They also got to look at flower petals, leaves, and moss! They had a great time learning how to use the Foldscopes and prepare their own slides. A huge thank you to Bates College for providing me with enough foldscopes for each of my students to explore the microscopic world!
