I get very frequent hair trims and my hairdresser let me know that you can tell if you need to get your hair trimmed by seeing if you have a "Trichorrhexis Nodasa" which just means a white tip. I found a piece of hair that had that white tip and took a photo. So if you see a white dot around the ends of your hair- this is what is happening and you should probably book an appointment with your hairdresser!
