Yesterday we arrived in Iquitos, located in the northern part of the Peruvian Amazon. This trip is in partnership with Innovalab 🌳
We visited the “Llanchama Community”, 40 mins from downtown. There, we met with the community leader - Mr. Jaime Canelo, I taught him how to use a Foldscope and we gave him the details about the Foldscope workshop that will take place later today 🙌🏽🔬
Here are some pictures of us walking to Mr. Canelo’s house, of him using a Foldscope, and of local kids swimming in a large pond that had just formed a few days ago due to the heavy rains. ✨🧒🏽👦🏽
