Since it is the long weekend I decided it would be fun to play around with my foldscope and get my sister involved. We both were having fun looking at different things in my room when I thought it would be a great idea to get a sample of her belly button. We didn't expect to see much but surprisingly we saw lots of big clumps/clusters of skin cells in there! We got the idea then since the belly button is a moist area to compare it to my forehead since I have oily skin there.

We were both surprised that I had less skin cells come off onto the sample but it might be because its just easier to wash your face so there wouldn't be as much as a belly button would have. They were also more spread out and in smaller groups if not individual. Overall it was super cool to see and now i'm definitely interested in taking samples from other places like ears or the foot!
