Hello everyone . We are Hinal and Meenal (twins) We are currently enrolled in class 10 . We live in Mumbai.

We have joined the lodha genius programme held at Ashoka University. We had a 3 day workshop with Prof. Manu Prakash . He introduced a foldscope to us and helped us build them .

We collected a sample from a pond near SRM University . We observed the collected sample and noticed many tiny organisms. Then we noticed a worm and tried to segregate it from the sample . But it was quite tough to keep a hold on it and however we managed it .

After making the slide , we observed the worm under the foldscope and it was quite fascinating observing it . We could see the inner structure of that worm along with its movement.
We would love it if someone could share more information about this worm .

Exploring around the worm ,we found a small green organism having a tail for movement. It seemed like a potato chip moving in a spiral direction . We're unable to identify this organism so can anyone help us identify this .

At last we would like to end up saying that it was our first experience with the foldscope and it was just incredible. Today we explored a part of the microscopic world and will look forward to observing more . We're delighted and grateful to have such an engaging session with Prof.Manu Prakash . Lots of gratitude to you Sir .

Signing off ,
Hinal and Meenal.
