I wanted to see what yogurt looked like under my 2.0 foldscope and was presented with this orange/brown structure. I took a small sample and dropped it into my slide and added water. After multiple tries this image was the best showing the protein and fat structures. All images are at 140X magnification plus 5X digital zoom.

This is an image of some dirt found in my fish tank with a q-tip. I’ve been noticing lately that my tank will get stained with brown moisture and I presumed it could’ve been diatoms and that it why I decided to wipe it and see. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any but I did find a bright green cell. I added water and as you can see there’s a small green circle which I assume is green algae. It has the perfect colour but it also makes a lot of sense to find that in a fish tank. The strings around are simply the filaments of my q-tip.

These are salt and I can’t believe that they’re all perfect little squares. I simply shaked some on my slide and I decided not to add water and it looked great with it simply being dried. One of my clearest image so far and that was after one try!
