1. It is a type of moth, belonging to the Erebidae family.
2. Firstly described by Francis Walker in 1855.
3. Commonly found in India and Srilanka.
4. It has a chain-like series of small yellow-banded black spots in between the large spots on the forewings.

Sample collected in Kozhikode, Chathamangalam, Kerala, India.
