Today we saw sunflower pollen in the Foldscope. The pollen grains were oval in shape and yellow in colour. They had tiny spines on them, which made them look rough and interesting. The outer covering looked jelly-like and sticky. Inside the pollen, small dots and cells were also visible. It was very interesting to see such tiny pollen grains so closely. They looked like little yellow balls with spikes. We enjoyed observing them in the Foldscope.
