Below are some photos I took using my foldscope and a slide of oil from my face. I made this slide by pressing the clear stickers from the foldscope kit against my face, specifically above my eyebrows and on my nose (spots that are the most oily on my face) at the end of the day before washing my face. The light source used for these photos was my desk lamp.

This is a photo of my slide where you can see small hairs (I think peach fuzz and an eyebrow hair) on it, one of which is seen in one of the foldscope photos.

This is the first photo I took of this slide, where you can see some smaller details.

This is a photo with one of the pieces of hair on it, where you can also see smaller details around it.
These are two other photos that I took from the same slide. I'm not entirely sure of the specific structures on any of these slides, but I still think it's really cool to see in more detail what can be found on our skin!
Here are some other photos I took using the foldscope, but these are of vanilla greek yogurt diluted with filtered water. I also thought this one had some cool features so thought I'd share it too!
Overall I found this assignment really interesting and am looking forward to seeing more with the foldscope and getting better at using it!
