Unlocking the Power of Foldscope

As we concluded our Foldscope Workshop, one of the most striking takeaways was the ease with which we can teach complex topics to students using this innovative tool. The Foldscope, a compact and portable microscope, has the power to transform the way we learn about the microscopic world.

For many of us, the most interesting thing we learned was the importance of hand hygiene in preventing the spread of microorganisms. We also gained a deeper understanding of the structure of cells and the role of antibiotics in fighting bacterial infections.

But what really stood out was the opportunity to learn about superbugs, antimicrobial resistance, and the impact of antibiotics on our bodies. It was fascinating to explore the world of microbes and discover the creative ways in which we can use simple things to make innovative tools.

The Foldscope Workshop was a testament to the power of hands-on learning and the importance of enhancing our knowledge about different types of bacteria. We left the workshop with a newfound appreciation for the microscopic world and a sense of excitement to share our discoveries with others.
