<p>Today was the first day of us using the foldscope and the lab. We had the chance to make a foldscope today. I was a little scared while making the foldscope  as I  thought I would tear the paper. After we made the foldscope we used onion peel as a sample. It had a brick like structure and the nucleus was not clearly visible. There were a few problems which I faced like couldn&#x27;t align the sample well etc. Now we made a little twist before the peel was plain now I added some beetroot juice. By adding the beetroot it had a tint of pink and saw the nucleus along with few bacteria. I really loved observing the onion peel using the foldscope. </p>
