Hi my name is Josaia Jana from MeECL Secondary school Umiam Meghalaya , I am studying in ten standard.I learned about this foldscope a few weeks ago in Pune with Praveen and his team at NCMR,NCCS.
Ever since I learned about this foldscope I was very much amazed and I had prepared many samples whether it is of an insect or plant species.I found this one quite interesting , I took a mosquito,I took of its wings and put it on the foldscope and I started observing it and it was very interesting and I could see it very clearly ,there were many stripes ,I could see it’s cells and it was brown in colour .I received many information and education regarding this species, this is just part of it .I would like give special thanks to Praveen sir and his team at NCMR ,Krishnapa sir for teaching me about this foldscope and for introducing me into this “world of science” .
