A one day Foldscope workshop on “Plant Structural Changes (Stomata) and Dynamics of Aquatic MicroFlora/Fauna” (under DBT Funded Project) was jointly organized by the Division of Crop Production, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam-793103, Meghalaya and Miranda House, Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 on 3 rd November, 2018 in MeECL Secondary School, Barapani, Meghalaya. A total of 60 students participated in the programme. The students actively participated in the programme with great eagerness and enthusiasm . Some of the samples observed and captured are: Stomata in Lower Leaf Surface of Colocasia ( Colocasia esculenta ) Cells of Onion Peel ( Allium cepa ) Petiole of Colocasia Leaf ( Colocasia esculenta )
